Wall Bed Installation Contract

2Scope of work

Mechanism: SBLM patented wall bed hinge (US patent [number]), 750 kg dynamic load, lifetime mechanism warranty from manufacturer.

Cabinet: Custom-cut [Egger / Kronospan] E0-grade engineered board, 25 mm wall + 18 mm shelving, edge-banded with [Rehau / Proadec] 2 mm PVC laser-edge in [finish code].

Hardware: Blum CLIP top BLUMOTION soft-close hinges (Austria), Blum TANDEM full-extension drawer runners, Hilti HSL-3 M10 wall anchors into structural concrete only.

Optional add-ons selected: [LED strip Y/N · desk-deploy Y/N · sofa combo Y/N].

Mattress: [customer-supplied / WALLBED KING-recommended fit]. We do not mark up mattresses.

3Price & payment schedule

Total contract value: HKD [total]. All taxes inclusive. No further charges unless explicitly added by signed change order.

Stage 1 — Deposit: 30% (HKD [amount]) on contract sign. Receipt issued within 24 hours.

Stage 2 — Delivery: 40% (HKD [amount]) on delivery to install address, before unboxing.

Stage 3 — Hand-back: 30% (HKD [amount]) only after the 15-item hand-back checklist (clause 8) has been signed by the Customer.

Accepted payment methods: FPS, bank transfer (HSBC), cash, credit card (1.5% surcharge applies on credit card only).

4Cooling-off & refund

7-day deposit cooling-off: Customer may cancel within 7 calendar days of contract sign for a 100% deposit refund, provided custom production has not yet started. Production-start date: [date]. Refund processed within 7 working days via the original payment method.

After production-start: Refund is reduced by the cost of materials already cut for the Customer's specific flat. Itemised statement provided on request.

5Schedule & lead time

Production lead time: 4–8 weeks from contract sign, depending on finish availability.

Install date window: [start date] to [end date] — confirmed 7 days before. Lift booking made by Supplier.

If Supplier delays beyond the install window: Supplier credits 1% of contract value per week of delay (capped at 5%) against the Stage 3 payment. If Customer delays: Stage 2 payment due on the originally scheduled delivery date regardless.

6Warranty

10-year warranty on all installed components, parts AND labour, from the date of Stage 3 sign-off. Transferable to a new flat owner if Customer sells the property — Supplier will re-issue the warranty certificate to the new owner free of charge.

Annual checkup included for years 1–5 at the install address. Years 6–10: annual checkup available at HKD 800/visit. Full warranty paragraph (with all coverage details and what voids it) is on /warranty.html and forms part of this contract.

7Customer obligations

Customer agrees to: provide accurate flat dimensions and lift access measurements (Supplier verifies on free site visit), grant install-day access during the agreed window, and notify the building management of the install date.

8Hand-back checklist (signed at completion)

15 items confirmed in person before Stage 3 payment is due: (1) Mechanism deploys cleanly · (2) Mechanism stows cleanly · (3) Latch engages and resists 30 kg lateral · (4) Cabinet doors close flush · (5) Drawers extend and self-close · (6) No visible scratches or chips · (7) Edge banding intact · (8) Wall anchors torqued (pull-tester reading recorded) · (9) Floor protected, no scuffs · (10) All packaging removed · (11) LED works (if applicable) · (12) Customer demo'd safe deploy/stow · (13) Annual-checkup booking instruction provided · (14) Warranty certificate issued · (15) Customer signature confirming acceptance.

9Dispute resolution

Step 1: Direct resolution within 14 days via hello@wallbedking.com.hk subject "DISPUTE". Step 2: Mediation via the Hong Kong Consumer Council. Step 3: Small Claims Tribunal (for monetary claims under HKD 75,000). Detail on /trust.html.

Governing law: Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

10Privacy

Customer data (name, address, HKID last 4, contact details, install photos) is held only for warranty fulfilment and statutory record-keeping. Photos are never published without separate written consent. Data is deleted on warranty expiry + 1 year unless the Customer requests earlier deletion. Privacy policy: /privacy.html.

Why we publish this

A buyer who has already read the contract makes a faster, calmer decision. We've never had a customer ask us to remove a clause after reading the published version. If you're going to spend HKD 30k+ with us, you should know exactly what you're signing — before you sign it.

Differences from the version you'll sign

The contract you sign at the showroom contains your real name, BR number, dimensions, prices, finish codes, and dates instead of the yellow placeholders. No clauses are added. If we ever need to add an unusual clause for your specific flat, it goes in a separate signed change-order, not in the body of the master contract.
